A Tale of Two Estates

A theatre piece with a conscience

A Tale of Two Two Estates is the brainchild of producer and Grime artist JaeDepz. It tells the loosely autobiographical tale of two friends growing up on two contrasting Bradford estates; one estate is very definitely working class whilst the other is a bit more affluent.

Jae was committed to having orchestral instruments alongside the recorded and sampled soundtrack so my role was to arrange the orchestral parts, rehearse the musicians and even bring the cello out of retirement to perform in the show.

Further performances and development of the project are planned for 2024.
